Veeam Backup and Replication Hands-On Session

This instructor-led hands-on lab session is designed for customers who have completed the self-paced Veeam Backup and Replication training, whether through the Veeam Learning Subscription or by purchasing the standalone Veeam Backup and Replication self-paced course or an option to retake labs if visited the Veeam Backup and Replication instructor led course.

• Gain hands-on experience with key VMCE-level tasks
• Validate and reinforce theoretical knowledge from the subscription
• Prepare for operational use of Veeam in real-world environments
• Embed learning from the VMCE ILT course and e-Learning subscription courses to prepare for the VMCE+ certification exam
• Receive a Certificate of Attendance from TD SYNNEX

• Certificate of completion from the self-paced Veeam Backup and Replication training.
• Students should have fundamental IT experience working with networking, servers, storage, cloud, virtualization and operating systems. To get the most out of this course, students should be familiar with the core fundamental concepts of Veeam Backup & Replication through hands on experience.

• Create and configure image-level backup jobs for VMs
• Set up application-aware processing
• Schedule and chain jobs
• Backup repository setup and management

Recovery Operations

• Full VM recovery
• Instant VM Recovery
• File-level restore (Windows/Linux)
• Application item recovery (Exchange, SQL, Active Directory)

Backup Copy and Replication

• Configure backup copy jobs with GFS retention
• Set up replication jobs to a secondary site
• Simulate failover and failback operations

SureBackup and Restore Testing

• Create a virtual lab and application group
• Configure and run a SureBackup job
• Perform automated backup verification

Monitoring and Troubleshooting (Optional Advanced Segment)

• Use Veeam ONE (if available) to monitor jobs and infrastructure
• Generate reports for compliance and health status
